[dock]11: What exactly is it?
The [dock]11 is the name of our café in the city centre. We are a meeting place for young adults aged 18 to 25. In our counselling café you can hang around, get help or just have a rest. It’s a place for everyone to be who they are.
Work: I am looking for work - how can you help?
We can show you where to look for a job and help you write your application and we’ll even take free photos for you. You can do that on Thursdays and Fridays by making an appointment.
Print: Can I come to you to print things out or make copies?
We have computers where you can print for free. We can also make copies of documents or IDs.
Shower: What's the story with the shower?
You can just call by and take a shower for free. We can provide you with towels and shower gel.
Food: Do you have anything to eat?
From noon to 2 p.m., a (vegetarian) lunch is available for 50 cents.
Internet: Do you have WiFi / Internet?
With us, you can use the free WiFi via the Hot Spot.
Jobcenter: Can you help me with the Jobcenter?
We have good contacts with the Bremen Jobcenter and can help you with questions and problems. Also, every two weeks on Tuesdays a counsellor comes to the café for you to talk to. Clothing is free. You can choose up to four items.
Wardrobe: Do the clothes cost anything?

You can chat with us – use the small window that opens at the bottom right of your screen when you click on our pages.

Mail: Can I get help with incomprehensible letters?
We will help you with all your letters, including understanding, writing or sending letters.
Sleep: Can I sleep at your place?
Sorry, we don’t have any sleeping accommodations or apartments for you but during opening hours you can rest here for a short while. We will help you find a place to sleep.
Debts: Can I get help with debt?
We are not a debt counselling service but we can work together to read through your letters, explain them and point you to the right help centre in Bremen.
Other: What else is on offer?
Besides the application assistance service, we also offer regularly-changing courses such as dancing, fitness, cooking, music, sewing or art.
Team: Who are you people?
We are a team of employees who are there for you on different days and times in the café. We are open to all your problems and are committed to helping you!
Appointment: Can I call by without an appointment?
You can always just come to us. If we don’t have time right away, you are welcome to wait here with a coffee or tea. But if you want to be sure, it’s best to make an appointment.
Over 25: What can I do?
If you are older than 25, we can work together to see who can help you in Bremen.
Laundry: How much does it cost to do laundry?
You can use the washing machine and the dryer for free. We also have detergents for you.
